PLATED WITH CARE

This series touches upon memory, biography and history with an incisive relationship to the present. The collaged cutouts were taken from Time-Life cookbooks that were published in the late 1970's, while the geometrical formations reference Portuguese Azulejos. This body or work weaves in aspects of the artist's identity and Azorean heritage.
